MATHILDE M. VAN DITMARS

I am a political sociologist, working as senior researcher at the Department of Political Science of the University of Lucerne. 

I am also associated researcher at the Department of Political Science of the University of Zurich.

My research focuses on political sociology and political behaviour. More specifically, I study political socialization, public opinion, class voting, and gender & political behaviour. I am expanding my research to the socio-political consequences of digitalization with the SNSF-funded project DIGIPOL.

I hold a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute (2017).
